The Wisdom Tooth

A weather front is heading in from the wet. I was up t 4:30 in the morning feeling the freeze and looked out the window and saw a vale of gray cotton like clouds. I knew if I got out before the sun rise, I'd have 20 minutes of shooting time. Well I made it and got in a few locations fast. This is my 10.1 megapixel Nikon 1v1. It was the first camera I pulled out the bag and went with. I made this shot for my friend Bryan Crute who takes his dog for soul searching hikes to the Lochs.

Traveling to the Garden of the Gods when a front heads in from the west or north can be a spiritual moment in the Rocky Mountains.
