I had been shooting in the light for a while. There where some trees making some un-even shadows which I thought would make for interesting light so I shot a couple and yes, this shot wasn't completely planned, but thats apart of catching the moment.As far as being to dark.. Maybe you monitor is darker, on mine it is quite fine.
