Asian Elephant ( Elephas maximus maximus).
The most prominent features of the elephant are the size of the body and the trunk.
Few males among Sri Lankan elephant wear tusks. Skin color of the elephant is usually gray and it can tolerate cold better than excessive heat. They are highly intelligent and self-aware.
