You can clearly see the in 2005 collapsed rock tower of originally only nine pinacles.
The Twelve Apostles were formerly called "The Sow and Pigs" (German: Die Sau und das Schwein). And later the "pigs" were replaced by Piglets (Schweinchen). What a name change, pigs became piglets and then apostles.
