Die Protagonisten, sicherlich Studenten, arbeiten sehr hingebungsvoll und, wie es aussieht, auch sehr erfolgreich. Das zeigt sich vor allem an dem Ergebnis, das der junge Mann bearbeitet.
Ein besonderer Eindruck aus dem Hermitage museum.

fascinating to see them labor away at reproducing the great art they're faced with! fascinating, too, to see their talent and at the same time notice, how some of the inexplicable magic of the original painting – despite all their skill – vanishes into thin air during the process of reproduction: that perfect heart shape of the constellation in the painting of the two men, for example, the warmth and sadness their expressive face seem to radiate – all but gone in the copy… hugs, sabine. p.s.: i love the look of that painted chest against the wall!
