LAst week I could take a day off from normal duties and together with a friend I visited the nearby old Abbaye "Val-Dieu" in Belgium.

what fascinates me about this image – besides the beautiful architecture and spectacular symmetry, of course – is the fact that depending on your mood and mind-set you either look UP and thus perceive it as an image of the above, or else you look DOWN into a gaping abyss and see the roof as a floor… greetings, sabine.Adele D.
