A friendly girl with her thanaka make up on her face selling the dried rohu fish which was cought out the Inle lake by the Intha fishing people.
The people in the Shan state of Myanmar depend highly on the food source of the lake. The lake offers 2 cyprinids (Sawbwa and Inlecypris) as well as swamp eel. The latter and a barb are mong some endemic species.
