Ach ja, am Anfang des Videos haben wir die berühmte Blumenvereinigung für die seinerzeit Gerald Scarfe (von dem ja auch die überdimensionalen Puppen stammen) verantwortlich zeigte.

Vielleicht an dieser Stelle noch etwas zu Amy Winehouse:

2008 erhielt David Gilmour den Ivor Novello Award für sein Lebenswerk. Amy Winehouse war auch im Saal, sie war Preisträgerin des »Songwriting Award«. Gilmour erwähnte sie explizit in seiner Dankesrede. David Gilmour: »Here I am getting the Lifetime Achievement award, well it’s been a long, bumpy road, but thank you very much indeed… Let’s hope in about another 20 or 30 years Amy Winehouse gets given one for long service.«

Einem BBC Reporter sagte Gilmour noch: »Amy is one of the absolutely outstanding sparks of great musical joy for me that has come up in the last few years. She’s just fantastic and she will be around for a very long time I’m sure.«

Im Alter von nur 27 Jahren wurde sie leblos in ihrer Wohnung aufgefunden.

Aber ein Jimi Hendrix, eine Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Curt Cobain oder auch Elvis schafften es nicht!
