    this one's still my favorite because it's the most "undecided" and puzzling of the whole series, and thus much more open to different kinds of interpretation than the other ones, making us doubt and mistrust our eyes the whole time… lg, sabine.

    creatures from another world, these "ivory owls" all flying in and sitting down in front of the lense of their master ; )). i love the ethereal, mysterious and otherworldly atmosphere of this picture, and the boundless sadness that's oozing from it… and i raise my head to the photographer, making it look so real and dynamic and captivating with one owl still airborne and just about to land… magic!! greetings, sabine. p.s.: i hope it's a "real arrangment" and no "digiart"?

    splendid image!
    owls are fascinating animals..the modern West associates owls with wisdom but the Aztecs and Maya considered the owl a symbol of death; most are solitary but here seems to be a convention that makes me thinking, too,
    "why are you here"?
