Winter Magic in Central Park
A bit of winter magic in Manhattan...
Or, perhaps I should say "wintry," as technically it was still autumn, when
New York City saw its first snowfall of the season on December 9.
Fortunately, for this photographer, it was the magical kind of "photogenic snow" -
the kind that coats the trees, streets, and sidewalks in an inviting white blanket.
Whether or not Manhattan will see a White Christmas, it was grand
to be in the City on this magical evening. It was like out of a movie...
Here, pedicabs add a welcoming glow to this scene at Tavern on the Green in Central Park.

if it weren't for the highrises in the background this could be a cozylittle village all lit up for the season ... and so bright and ambient those
blue lit-up pedicabs !!!

Wonderful! Wish I was there....We're dreaming of a white Christmas, too. And I mean dreaming, as the weather forecast is for temperatures well above freezing. :-(
Wishing you a happy festive season, Steve, with lots of light and joy.
Regards
Lucy
