woodpecker, my neighbor
Winter time is feeding time and he knows his places :-)
This Great spotted woodpecker (Dendrocopos major) lives in our neighborhood for several years, for we are living close to a small oak forrest.
Due to heavy storm today (and an additional change between snow, sun and rain) I had a chance to take some photos, but only with high ISO: sorry for the noise!

Aaah, so ein Pärchen hatten wir auch den ganzen Sommer über im Garten als Gast.Kamen bis 4 m an die Terasse heran. War immer sehr schön zu beobachten.
