I was born in a sunny little town in Sicily back in the day. My life was happily divided between my scientific studies and practicing the decorative arts until I moved to Florence for my University studies. Once I obtained my Master Degree in Physics I moved to Bonn, Germany, to follow up with a PhD. It wasn't long until I realized how a tight fit a life of pure research was for me. In the period that followed, I started my food-blog "Recipe Taster" as a way to reach out into what was still a mysterious world to me.
What I didn't know then was that wanting a successful food-blog meant becoming a good food-photographer. It was 2009. At the end of 2010 I bought my first DSLR.
Till then I had almost never shot a photo but I soon found out how satisfying and fitting, photography was to my artistic temperament. It was clear from the beginnings that my favorite subjects would be still life where I can easily apply all my OCD attention to detail.
This attention to details translates to my street and architecture photography works.
My love of travel and my privileged geographic position, makes it easy for me to reach places rich of history, details and symbols from old knowledge.
