Brad Florescu

* Brad, now 36, started his career in communication at the age of 15, as a radio DJ. For the next 20 years, he worked as a copywriter then creative and strategy director for major advertising agencies and top media trusts (no. 1 and no. 3)
* With a degree in journalism and communication, Brad pursued his passion for writing and photography and he is now the only professional travel journalist in Romania.
* He is now one of the most influential personality in travel journalism, as he had startled new market trends such as independent traveling or the “gap year”.

www.tedoo.eu was launched in 2009, as a platform for “eye traveling”. It contains top quality photographs and brief, inspiring information on destinations from around the world. All photos are taken by Brad himself.

www.thailander.ro is a special project, commissioned by the Tourism Authority of Thailand in 2010, with the objective of increasing Thailand’s popularity among Romanians. For 5 weeks, Brad traveled on a traditional Thai vehicle, delivering 44 stories and numerous images of less known destinations in Southern Thailand.

www.amazingrace.ro, the starting point of his career in travel journalism, is the first Romanian website dedicated to independent traveling. With half a million visitors since launch, 500 original articles and thousands of images published, Amazingrace.ro is now a standard reference in online travel blogosphere.
