Su di me
Feck I hate these "why this, why that" things, but I guess they have to be done.
I'm here because I have friends who are here (I'm a sheep, I know) and also because I finally managed to scam a proper camera and I can feel like less of an idiot when I go out and take photos (rather than when I was using the old point and shoot).
I got into photography because my mother once lied to a potential partner and said that I was talented in a creative way and had won awards for photography...I guess at the time (I was 15) I thought I'd better actually have something to show if they ask and not make my mother out to be what she actually is in this case, a liar. Also, I discovered towards the end of high school a distinct like of graphic design, and because I'm shiteness personified when it comes to the more traditional forms of art, I thought to get original pieces that I can transmorgraphy in photoshop/illustrator using a camera.
I then went on to do a media course in which photography was a module, unfortunately my teacher was more intereted in repeatedly telling us about the time she'd met the Dalai Lama than she was telling us about aperture and shutter speeds. So everything I know (very little unfortunately) is self taught - mostly by logic (I'm an anti-manualist).
Hopefully, I can learn a few more things from you guys!

P.S. Photo of me taken by Peta Lisle...my cuz!
