Profile of Harriet S. Amy
I am a special education teacher who does tutoring in reading. I have been with a County School System for 8 yrs and find it most challenging and rewarding. I also have a background in electrical , mechanical and environmental engineering. I also have three wonderful grown sons, an Austrailian Shepherd, and a tabby cat.
I love to travel and site-see. I always have my camera with me. I like to photograph many thngs, but especially flowers, nature and landscapes, and people. I mainly use my Canon AE-1, with a 60-280 mm Canon zoom. I have a digital, but prefer my Canon, as I really like the clarity and colors I can get from the 35 mm camera. I like to experiment with different types of lenses, but most time I only used a clear lens or polarizer..
I am a self-taught photographer and have been making photos since I was a wee child. I just started entering pictures in websites in the middle of Aug. this year. This has been a great experience..
