My father always had a camera in his hand when we went on trips or attended a family event. When he retired and started traveling to foreign destinations, he always came back with interesting photographs and the stories about his trip. Although I had a Cannon Rebel for many years, I really never developed an interest in taking pictures. When a good DSLR was brought to market, I began by taking many photographs to get one or two I liked.
As I have progressed with photography, I have been able to reduce the number of pictures I take to get the few that I really enjoy. I feel that I am now at a stage where I am comfortable with the camera and taking quality pictures that the real education of photography can begin.
