Habe mich sehr gefreut. Ich weiß nicht, ob die dort in Norwegen mit Hochwasser zu kämpfen haben. Aber hier bei uns an den großen Flüssen, wäre es nichts für mich, wenn ständig die Keller volllaufen würden. Geschweige von den Kosten
Lieben Gruß

Anna, hi!
Thank you so much for your nice comments on my photowork, I was very glad to read them all.
You asked me about the meaning of the 2009 exhibition title "Poli - Ichni". Well, although it seems to be a bit difficult to exactly translate it, I'll give it a try. Polichni is a suburb of the Thessaloniki Urban Area and was a former municipality in the regional unit of Thessaloniki, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Pavlos Melas, of which it is a municipal unit.
When the exhibition took place, Polichni was still a municipality on its own and not a municipal unit (as it is today). You might also want to know that in greek the word "polichni" means what in portuguese the word "municipalidade" means, and it is an ancient word (in fact it's rare too, only a few people in Greece use this word today). The organizers of this exhibition wanted to, let's say, have a clever title given to it and, thus, they tried to play with the word "polichni" a bit. So, they separated the word in two parts "Poli" and "Ichni". On the other hand, "Poli" in greek means "city" and "Ichni" means "signs, indications, traces". So, there it was! They kind liked of what they did with the word and, then, the title was given as the main one for this particular photoexhibition. Hope this helped some (at least, as a brief answer to your question).
