Afternoon in Porto
Porto, Portugal
Strolling through Porto, in late afternoon, I came across this veggie store, close to the river Douro. The light was warm and gave a dreamy, tranquill touch to the scene. I hope that I'm able to convey that feeling to you, what do you think?

Very good captured Robert. I was in Porto too years ago and your photo bring back memories. I saw those scenes too. And yes there is a big contrast between rich and poor in the city.I like this warm light a lot.
Greetings
Jutta

Thanks, Yan and Belinda, for your nice words. When I was in Porto I was impressed by the contrast between rich and poor in the city, sometimes separated by only a narrow street. These streets show, as you mentioned, the dynamics and struggle of daily life.
Thanks for dropping by again :-)

the warm lighting reaaally makes the beautiful red roofs so much more prominent. i love how old world yet modern this shot feels. the laundry blowing in the breeze makes this otherwise quiet shot, a little more dynamic.Good capture! :D
