Avioneta - details
In November 2008 I was commissioned to paint a watercolour of a light aircraft for the owner of a small Aragonese airflight company.
In order to find the right setting for the plane, I painted it like above of Zaragoza's cathedral, el Pilar, and its river Ebro.
Unfortunately it was difficult to capture the watercolour with its true colours as by then I had a very simple camera.

I'm sure the plane's owner was thrilled.It's a most evocative capture of the magic moments of flight. You probably debated whether the artist's brush would be a high speed "shutter" to capture the prop or to show a circle of motion. Either works!
