I felt compelled to translate photography into a small oil paintings (23cm x 18cm). And I hope to honour it and its inspiration.

nicely done into painting even though it was from a photo. Many people attempt to do this, but few succeed with a painting that is as fresh as the original. You certainly achieved it.
