The cormorant and the mallard
A funny moment by the river and a study in contrast.
The cormorant is elegantly swooshing out of the water, while the mallard drake hangs down like a flabby beanbag, belly on the ice, before lift-off.
Perhaps the talented Jean de la Fontaine could have written a wise fable on that theme...
