The Magic Mirror
I can't resist showing you another mirror image ....
as we motored along Homfray Channel for hours with the mountains reflected in the still water I had to remind myself that this is a part of the Pacific Ocean and wondered how the early explorers must have felt here.

the same ocean that's frequented by great whites and other voracious creatures of the depth… yes, hard to believe! oceans are a treacherous bunch – like mirrors (ask alice, if you want!). you peer into them but hardly ever succeed in penetrating their surface. thus, they can hide their most monstrous and unpredictable sides from view! on the other hand, the utter peace and serenity, the perfect equilibrium that is shown here… well, isn't the PACIFIC ocean for once being true to its name?! ; )) hugs, sabine.Angelika El. 05/10/2014 5:21

Bei der Aufnahme denke ich "alles ist möglich".....da kann der Schwarzbär an der Uferzone entlang tingeln oder es zeigt sich der Orka im Meer.....und nicht zu vergessen die Seeadler und die Otter.....und es gibt noch viel mehr..... und und und......lG Stefan
