Well, I still do have a few left in this series of Orangutan's pouting after being busted for begging. I think the whole incident started when one man threw them a cracker. He also got busted as someone turned him in. They do the begging so well, you do want to give them some food but it is very dangerous.

The keepers are mostly concerned that these primates do not get our germs as they are most like humans and get our illness. They get measles shots and flu shots just as we do even human birth control pills, so they can have there fun too and not over populate, HA!! We were told, if we throw food to them, the germs on our hands are passed to the Orangutan's and they get sick. They lost a baby some time ago, due to one of our illness, so they are very serious about this.
