what a great close-up of this very resolute and strong-willed creature – i'm always slightly afraid of their verve. but this one here seems nice and relaxed ; )). the white streak in her facial feathers is so beautiful! and for the first time i understand, why in some children's books the goose is depicted as wearing a scarf round her head, tied at the "chin"! hugs, sabine. p.s.: will take a look at the nest now – you must have been so brave, adele, to dare and take a peek at "mom's" precious eggs and not get pecked to death ; ))!!MsrAnimals 13/04/2011 23:50
