Titan trigger who bit me twice
This titan triggerfish is here deliberately posted because it had bitten me twice after I took this photo shot.
The triggerfish are very special species, because they defend their nest against everyone and against everything. They can reach a size of up to 80 cm.
Its aggressiveness is one reason for this fish itself in the habitat in his territory, where he protects his nest, to keep at a distance.
There are about 43 species of triggerfish, the clown-triggerfish is one of the most beautiful and less aggressive. The titan triggerfish as is shown here on the photo is very aggressive, but usually it bites us divers only in the fins.
A triggerfish in the waters of Koh Phi Phi south Thailand gained international fame that T-shirts already were being sold, which says
"I survived Jack the Trigger".
