Yellow Snake
This was taken with a Nikon D-100 camera with a Nikon 28-70mm lense at a focal length of 50mm, with a +4 close-up lense, F/18, shutter speed of 1/3 sec, with a tripod. I am learning how to gauge depth of field and aperture settings using my camera in total manual. I felt I had too shallow a depth of field for the last snakes I shot through glass, so I went out and shot some more.

Great photo - you are most definitely pointing your camera a the right things, and in a technical sense, you are pressing all the right buttons on your camera ...Another Favourite (and I am fussy ... :-)
