Thanks for the comment on my abstract butterfly. :)
It was taken with a Canon EOS D60 fitted with 100mm macro and 25mm extension tube. I was nearly touching the wing! The backlight was provided by my 420 EX off camera via a shoe cord and bounced/diffused via a Lumiquest flash doohickey (forgot what to cal it, sorry ;)). Exposure was 1/250 at f8 (ISO 100) I think.
If you have an excuse for my insufficient english, i'll try:
I think I see a flower with pistel and stamen and you have to look very good to see this.
I also see a square filled with grey colours which sound very nice to me.
If you show the total flower than maybe you have a beautiful flower probable without suspence.
Your choice of what you show to me is what I call a cut out.
There was my comment on your "negativly blue". Here I would choose an other cut out.
Thanks for your comment to the Sea of Sound ... it's one of my favourites too.
Really like your two pics where you just play with shadows projected on a flat surface ... simple and very effective. Keep experimenting and enjoing photography, I think you'll be posting some more great pics :)
Thank you so much for your advice! I will definitely try that next time! From what i've seen of your pictures, they're great! I cant wait to go look at the rest! Have an amazing day! God bless!
Hi jaime!
thanks for your kind comments,
I like to photograph flowers, though I must admit I dont know a great deal about them. However one other comment for that pic says ita a begonia, and I think they know better then I do.
By the way I am enjoying looking at your pics.
greetings
