Broome

Broome ist eine von Perlenfischerei und Tourismus geprägte Stadt in der westlichen Kimberley-Region Westaustraliens, 2.200 km nördlich von Perth und am Indischen Ozean gelegen. Broome is a pearling and tourist town in the western Kimberley region of Western Australia, 2.200 km north of Perth and situated on the Indian Ocean. Founded over a century ago it became a melting pot of many nationalities. Attractions includes the beautiful Cable Beach, Gantheaume Point with dinosaur tracks, Malcolm Douglas\' Crocodile Park and Sun Pictures, the oldest open air cinema in the world.
