Colourful pots on a narrowboat
This was a collection of brightly painted pots on a narrowboat at Higher Poynton, near to my home town Stockport. The canals in the past were very much a part of local industry, but fell into disuse with the coming of the railways. Nowadays, they are being used for leisure, and as in the past, the narrowboat owners adorn their boats with colourful artefacts, to brighten them up. It is the colours in this shot which catch the eye and make the scene interesting.
