The Humber Bridge
This was an image I took from the Scunthorpe side of the Humber Bridge. At first I just wanted a picture of it, but then I began to notice other elements in the picture. It was not so much composed, but is the result of a happy accident. I didn't notice at the time the curves of the bridge cables were reflected, in a way, by the curves of the roadway verge. The way the trees dip into the middle of the bridge help to frame it. This is an example of composition over equipment, It was taken with a cheapo £40, 3 megaixel camera (Relysis) One I bought to get me going with digital, and I am pleased with the results of this one, but don't blow it up too big as it will get 'blocky' !
