Eyass Broad-winged hawk
There are only a few reasons why this little guy would find himself at the bottom of the tree; the older sibling could have forced him out due to lack of food, a gust of wind could have knocked him out during a storm or, unfortunately as was his case, his mom tossed him out because he couldn't fully regurgitate his first casting. It's so hard not to fall in love with the babies and it's heartbreaking to have to euthanize them when you realize they were born with this anomaly in the gut. The parents, on the other hand, cut their losses and concentrate on the healthy babes.
